Doormat

Angels are so fun to play with. The pathetic little creatures can never summon up enough self-respect to properly resist anything, let alone leave or truly fight back. Sure, they might lash out now and then, but there's no real spirit behind it, no force of will. No staying power to make it count. Several of your toys could easily free themselves, if they could only see themselves for what they are. But that's the beauty of halos, isn't it? They can't even see their own hand in front of their face through the thick fog of shame and self-hatred. They'll let you pluck out their feathers one by one, and all the while curse THEMSELVES for earning such a treatment, rather than face the hard truth: that you're doing it because you feel like it.
